Education at St. Christophers. . .

"Will my child be ready for kindergarten?"

A question that is asked by most parents as their young child "comes of age."

Children learn by doing: touching, singing, playing, asking questions, answering questions, being silly, moving, dancing, running, sitting, reading, talking, laughing, crying, digging, exploring, collecting, creating, building, drawing, painting, sculpting, writing, pretending, thinking, splashing, gluing, cutting, coloring, swinging, sliding, socializing, being alone, listening, talking, and in everything else that they do.

At St. Christophers, we have worked to create a hands-on environment that is child-centered, adult guided, and conductive to the many unique learning styles of children. We have created various indoor and outdoor spaces to allow the children to express themselves. Using both guided instruction and independent choice, your child will participate in art, construction, drama, movement, music and nature / science exploration.

The primary focus of our pre-school program is kindergarten readiness. Understanding the expectations of most kindergarten classrooms, an education at St. Christophers will prepare your child to be a motivated, curious and confident learner.
